Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) has a section on its website to learn greek online. 105 audio lessons have been uploaded to the page. I started off with lesson 1 and it was pretty nice. Lets see when i am able ask for a bottle of milk in Greek to the kiosk i visit every morning! Btw, for the uninitiated, the Cypriots also speak greek, but with a different accent.
The Cyprus Blog recommends:
- The power of manamoo in Cyprus
- Independence from the British
- The first rain of the winter in Cyprus
- Three reasons to Visit Cyprus
- Medfest Cyprus 2007 - Mediterranean International Music Festival

Interesting, I haven’t come across that one. I don’t know if it’s the same as the one I’ve been using - http://www.kypros.org/LearnGreek/ - which is actually Cypriot Greek, at least roughly so. It has transcripts of the lessons too and you have to register (free) to join, but I’ve been very impressed by it.

Sue..i checked out your link and it says
“Learn Greek Online is a course provided by Kypros-Net in collaboration with the CyBC to teach the modern Greek language online.
Learn Greek Online is currently composed of 105 real audio files (around 15 minutes each),
“
So, it is the same. The link i gave is at CYBC and they have 105 lessons too
